Join two experienced and enthusiastic practitioners for an evidence-based, nature connecting course, relevant to early years, primary and secondary practitioners, those working in mainstream, SEND and alternative provision.
Each day will be a balance of experiential learning, research-based theory, practical application, group and paired collaboration as we explore how nature teaches us, how the body informs the mind and how our thinking affects our behaviour.
We will explore the importance of self-awareness and how valuable authenticity is to effect real change when working with our groups. How can we listen more and build better relationships?
This training offers insight and practical ways of using nature to create belonging, unlocking the therapeutic value of the outdoors. We will build a community of learning together, sharing practice and our knowledge of the personal and generational challenges faced by neurotypical and neurodivergent children and young people, post-Covid.
An average of 8 hours of further study and submission of a portfolio will be required for accreditation.
We will follow current Covid guidelines for working safely both in and outdoors.
