This is an industry specific two day (16hr) Outdoor First Aid Training for Forest School Leaders and Outdoor/ Education professionals e.g.  DofE Expedition Leaders, Outward Bounds, Guiding/ Scouting, Youth Leaders

Covers requirements for: Institute for Outdoor Learning Outdoor First Aid Band 3 and Emergency Paediatric First Aid, exceeding the recommendations for an “Emergency First Aid at Work” first aider within a workplace (H & S -First Aid – Regulations 1981).

The training is certificated by the Lifesigns Group (Health & Safety Executive Approval Number: 128/00) and is valid for 3 years.

We are delighted to be working with Brendan to deliver industry-relevant First Aid training.  Brendan has been running Outdoor Adventure First Aid, along with paediatric and FAW training for over 10 years; he teaches First Aid to Scouts and DofE students.

This professional training equips you to deal with incidents in woodland and countryside settings which are often remote – meaning 30 mins or more from safety.

The ECP (Expedition Care Programme) is run outdoors in a woodland Forest School setting in all weathers, to make your training as realistic and relevant as we can for Forest Schools and Outdoor Learning situations. The training course is recognised by all national outdoor governing bodies.

This course also forms part of the Level 3 Forest School Training - there are spaces on those course dates. If the options shown here do not work for you, please contact us and we will let you know when there will be other courses available.
