Oak Leaf Forest School, set up by our great friend and colleague Mhairi MacGillivray-Edwards has hosted training and regularly collaborates with us, providing learning opportunities for those educators and organisations seeking to understand the value of Forest School for their communities.

We value the work and generosity of our colleagues at the  Sylva Foundation. As well as sharing their beautiful site we learn from their love of woodlands and commitment to sustainable forestry.  We value their specialist knowledge and access to the many experts, foresters, scientists, artists and  makers who have made the Wood Centre their base.  Our relationship has led to many exciting opportunities, including the development of my Forest for Educators with Forest School trainees and the Forest Schools For All project.

We look forward to running more training at Sylva and finding innovative ways of working together. They are great advocates for Forest School, locally and nationally.

Muddyfaces is one of our favourite sources of inspiration and resources. Set up and run by a qualified Forest School Leader with the goal of equipping Educators and Individuals to run exciting and safe Forest School sessions. We personally use them to stock our sessions and courses.

Our friends at Red Squirrel Resources have produced an accessible series of teaching films to share their wide knowledge and skills around mentoring play and learning in the woods.  These feature stories, games, bushcraft skills, alongside a wealth of information about plants and animals. This is a valuable opportunity to see skilled practitioners, in action, with their Forest School groups.

Our premium Forest School training includes a year’s access to aid your study, building an ‘up your sleeve toolkit’ alongside the face-to-face training.
